Trump said the U.S. could be covered in ashes and garbage because of communists
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the country could be covered in ashes and garbage if the Democrats, who allegedly sympathize with socialist or communist ideology, win the elections.
The U.S. president believes that historically the ideology promoted by some Democratic candidates for Congress or for city leadership has led to negative consequences.
"They will destroy our country. I don't know whether they want that, or whether they are simply naive. A thousand years ago, under other names, everyone who would have been doing what they are doing now, who would have advocated the same, everything turned into ashes, garbage and dirt," Trump said in an interview with Fox News in response to a request to comment on the nomination and election victories of those Democratic Party candidates whom he calls "social democrats."
