World's first school for robots opens in China's Hangzhou - VIDEO
In the Chinese city of Hangzhou, the first specialized school for robots has opened, where they are trained to work in real-world conditions.
As Day.Az reports citing foreign media, the first group of students consisted of androids intended for use in the manufacturing, service, security, and entertainment sectors.
The educational program includes physical tests, specialized courses, and practical classes. After completing their training, the robots undergo a final skills assessment and receive certificates confirming their readiness for work. The program is divided into four main areas: technical skills, patient care, art, and sports, with the content of the classes adapted to the physical capabilities of each particular android.
According to engineers, this approach makes it possible to combine training with applied tasks as effectively as possible. Video recordings from the school show humanoid robots taking part in various activities, including sports and music training. The initiative reflects China's aspiration to take humanoid robots beyond demonstration projects and prepare them for practical application in industry and the service sector.
