Azerbaijan's archery championship and cup have concluded

The country's archery championship and cup have come to an end.

During the competitions, winners were determined in the U-15, U-18, and adult categories, after which an awards ceremony took place.

The awards to the winners in the U-15 age group were presented by Aydin Mammadov, head of the Olympic and Paralympic Sports Sector of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Ulviya Hajiyeva, head of the Strategic Analysis Sector.

The standout young archers in the U-18 category were awarded by Farid Khalilov, secretary general of the Azerbaijan Archery Federation, and Board member Sumbul Turabova.

In the tournament among adults, the awards to the champions and prize winners were presented by Aydin Mammadov and Mehdi Mammadov, deputy director of the Target Archery Club.

In the women's competitions among adults, the gold medal was won by Fatima Huseynli, while among the men, Nurlan Rahimli took first place.

In the U-15 category, the top awards went to Seljan Mammadli and Magomed Ismailov.

In the U-18 category, Sumeyya Badalli and Sardar Veliyev climbed to the highest step of the podium.

It should be noted that a total of about 50 athletes took part in the three-day competitions.
