Death toll from overnight Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia rises to six

Zaporizhzhia region has endured one of the most brutal days since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war — six people were killed and another 52 were wounded as a result of massive Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district.

The corresponding information was released by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, on his Telegram channel.

According to him, over the course of the day Russian troops carried out a total of 938 strikes on 58 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. In effect, each settlement was subjected to an average of more than 16 strikes per day.

It is noted that Russian troops carried out 23 airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, Malokaterynivka, Novomykolaivka, Ternovate, Vilniansk, Rozumivka, Nove Pole, Barvinivka, Samoilivka, Zalyvne, Yehorivka and Svoboda.

There were also 341 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles and infrastructure facilities.
