Attack on Saudi vessel in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait: there are fatalities

A Saudi vessel came under missile fire in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, ISNA reports.

It is noted that the Saudi commercial vessel was attacked with a missile while passing through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

According to preliminary data, the strike was carried out by forces of the Yemeni army.

As a result of the incident, three crew members were killed — two citizens of Pakistan and one citizen of Indonesia.

Earlier, representatives of the Shiite military-political movement "Ansar Allah" (the Houthis), which rules in northern Yemen, announced that they were imposing a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia in response to the shelling of the Sanaa airport.
