Express routes M1–M6 are being launched: how transportation will operate during the metro repairs - PHOTO - VIDEO
As part of the project to separate the lines of Baku Metro CJSC, train service between the "28 May" and "Nizami" stations will be temporarily suspended starting August 15.
As a supporting measure, 6 new express routes organized by the Azerbaijan Ground Transport Agency (AYNA) will begin operating on August 14.
As a reminder, the new express routes will run along the following directions:
M1: "Elmlar Akademiyasi" - "28 May" metro stations;
M2: "Inshaatchilar" - "Nizami" - "28 May" metro stations;
M3: "20 January" - "Nizami" - "28 May" metro stations;
M4: "20 January" - "Koroglu" metro stations;
M5: "20 January" - "Ganjlik" metro stations;
M6: "Elmlar Akademiyasi" - "Ganjlik" metro stations.
In addition, the number of buses will be increased on 20 regular routes (No. 2, 6, 7A, 9, 10, 14, 17, 18, 26, 61, 65, 79, 85, 88, 88A, 93, 133, 165, 199 and 202).
Starting today, the terminal stops of regular routes No. 32, 49, 120E and 125, which enter the "28 May" Transport Interchange Hub, have been changed and organized around Samad Vurgun park. Thus, the terminal stop for routes No. 32 and 49 has been designated on Dilara Aliyeva street, and for routes No. 120E and 125 - on Pushkin street.
