Iran's armed forces declare full control over the Strait of Hormuz
The Strait of Hormuz is under the full control of Iran's Armed Forces, contrary to false claims by the American side.
This was stated by Ebrahim Zolfaghari, a spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya central headquarters of the Islamic Republic's Armed Forces.
"The claims of the United States regarding the unimpeded passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, which do not correspond to reality and demonstrate the desperation and helplessness of the American army, are nothing but lies and fabrications. The Strait of Hormuz is under the full control and management of the Islamic Republic of Iran; no commercial vessel or tanker has been or will be able to pass safely through this strait without the permission and supervision of the mighty Iranian armed forces," the Iranian television channel SNN quoted him as saying.
The day before, American President Donald Trump claimed that the United States "fully controls" the Strait of Hormuz and intends to "maintain this control" in the future.
