Death toll from devastating earthquake in Colombia nears 300

At least 281 people died as a result of the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that struck Colombia on August 10.

According to Report, this was announced by the local radio station Blu Radio.

Another 3,971 people were injured, and 379 are listed as missing.

The highest number of fatalities was recorded in the city of Cali, where 96 people fell victim to the natural disaster.
