SpaceX returns Poland to the European roaming zone

The American company SpaceX, following an appeal from Warsaw, has returned Poland to the European roaming zone for Starlink terminals.

This was announced by Polish Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski.

"SpaceX has responded to my request and will not treat Polish customers worse than customers from other European countries," Gawkowski wrote on X.

"The statement I received is unequivocal: Poland will be included in the intra-European Starlink Roam coverage zone. No new restrictions will apply to Polish customers," the minister added.

A few days ago, SpaceX excluded Poland from the European communications region for users of Starlink terminals, which includes more than 30 countries. The company did not disclose the motives behind its decision. In response, the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Radoslaw Sikorski, threatened SpaceX owner Elon Musk that Warsaw would stop paying for Starlink terminals for Ukraine if Poland were not returned to the European communications region.
