Coffee machine disrupts Tyumen — Baku flight
The plane made an emergency landing in Ufa after a smoke detector went off in the cabin because of a coffee machine.
This was reported by SHOT.
According to its information, the Boeing 737-500, which was flying from Tyumen to Baku, issued an urgency signal (Pan-Pan) a few minutes after taking off from Roshchino airport.
As the channel writes, at that moment the flight attendants had begun preparing coffee in the galley at the rear of the plane. Preliminarily, the cause was the smell from the coffee machine's fuse.
Initially, the aircraft was supposed to make an emergency landing in Chelyabinsk, but the pilots were unable to do so.
In the end, the Boeing landed in Ufa. After some time, it continued the flight.
