In Ecuador, a "ghost ship" attacked two vessels

An unidentified ship attacked two Ecuadorian fishing vessels and detained their crews.

As 1news.az reports citing the American television channel CNN, the fishing vessels La Negra Francisca Duarte II and Don Maca came under attack by a drone carrying explosives, after which the crews were detained by armed men from a blue vessel, which the fishermen called a "ghost ship."

It is noted that the men from the blue vessel spoke English, and some of them wore patches with the U.S. flag.

Later, the unidentified men handed the fishermen over to the Salvadoran coast guard, reporting that they had been shipwrecked.

As CNN reported, the U.S. War Department, together with the CIA, declined to provide information about the incident.
