UAE suspends trade and all financial operations with Iran
The UAE has announced the suspension of all trade, financial, and commercial operations with Tehran amid a missile attack from Iran.
This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab state.
"In light of the regional escalation that undermines both international security and peace in the region, all trade, commercial exchanges, and financial operations with Iran will be halted until further notice," the statement published on the ministry's page on X says.
Earlier, the UAE Ministry of Defense reported that air defense systems had detected the launch of two ballistic missiles from Iran. One of them fell outside the state's territorial waters, and the second within them. The attack was directed against maritime shipping, the agency added.
