In Altai, a bear killed a female tourist

A bear dragged a 29-year-old tourist from the Novosibirsk region out of a tent and killed her; this happened near the village of Artybash in the Republic of Altai, the main directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the republic told RIA Novosti.

"It all happened on the night of Wednesday near the village of Artybash in the Republic of Altai. The bear dragged a woman born in 1996 out of a tent and killed her," the directorate noted.

The agency also specified that the deceased was a resident of the Novosibirsk region.
