On the morning of August 19, Russian forces attacked a minibus in Kherson. People were killed.
AZERTAC reports this citing the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
At approximately 08:50, Russian forces attacked a minibus with a drone in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson. The strike hit the passenger vehicle directly, in which people were traveling on their usual business.
"As a result of this strike, four people were killed. Their identities are now being established by the relevant services. My sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed," Prokudin wrote on social media.
The names of the victims have not yet been disclosed — the relevant services are handling this.
"After the strike, the driver decided to drive to the hospital in the damaged vehicle so as not to lose precious time. He risked coming under attack a second time, but the most important thing was to get the wounded to the medics faster," the statement says.
Later, the Regional Military Administration added that four elderly people were killed — a 69-year-old man and three women aged 89, 63 and 71.
