Javadov becomes a two-time world champion
The youth wrestling championship (U-20) continues in Bratislava (Slovakia).
As azerisport.com reports, on the fourth day of the competition two Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers are competing for medals: Ayhan Javadov (60 kg) became a two-time world champion, while Elmin Aliyev (82 kg) won his bout for the bronze medal. Wrestler Zahra Karimzade (72 kg) will also compete in a bout for bronze.
At the moment, Azerbaijan has 5 (1-1-3) medals: Ayhan Javadov (60 kg) won gold, Javidan Nehmatov (77 kg) took silver, and Emin Javadli (55 kg), Tural Ahmadov (63 kg), and Elmin Aliyev (82 kg) claimed bronze.
Let us note that the World Championship will run until August 23.
