Russian troops carried out a ballistic strike on a railroad enterprise in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district, killing an employee of Ukrzaliznytsia.

As 1news.az reports, this was announced by the chairman of the board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, on Facebook.

According to him, the strike hit one of the railroad enterprises in Darnytsia.

"One worker — a foreman — was killed on the spot, the rest were promptly evacuated after the first strike," Pertsovskyi noted.

In addition, the head of Ukrzaliznytsia reported an attack on the Odesa Railway. According to him, the railway station at the Rozdilna station in the Odesa region was damaged.

Details of the consequences of the attack are being clarified.

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, in turn, reported that over the past day Russian troops carried out 539 strikes on 42 settlements in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the attacks, three people were killed and another 19 were wounded, including two children.

"71 reports were received of damage to residential buildings, cars and infrastructure facilities," he noted.
