Another earthquake strikes Japan
A magnitude 6.0 earthquake occurred off the coast of Hokkaido Prefecture in northern Japan.
As 1news.az reports, this was announced by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
According to its data, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 125 km south of the city of Obihiro, which has a population of about 173,000 people.
The hypocenter lay at a depth of 43 km.
No information has been received about possible casualties or destruction. No tsunami threat was declared.
Earlier, about 40 people were injured in Japan due to a magnitude 5.9 earthquake.
