Pashinyan says he would be pleased with Armenia's expulsion from the CSTO
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, speaking in the National Assembly during a discussion of the government's program, stated that there are no plans to step up Yerevan's work in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
The head of the Armenian cabinet emphasized that he would view a possible decision by the bloc to expel the country positively: "I can clearly say that we do not plan to step up our work in the CSTO… I also know that there are discussions in the CSTO about expelling Armenia. I would be very pleased if the organization expelled Armenia. In any case, that would free us from the dilemma of whether to leave or not to leave."
