Strikes hit Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv, leaving people dead
Russian forces carried out strikes on the Ukrainian cities of Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv overnight into August 25.
According to UNIAN, citing the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional administration, Ivan Fedorov, the drone attack caused a fire in non-residential buildings. It later became known that the city had been hit by a guided aerial bomb, which killed two people.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported missile strikes on an industrial zone in the city's Osnovyanskyi district.
According to him, one person was killed in the attack.
Earlier, a drone strike hit a residential building in the center of Chernihiv. As a result, 14 people were injured, including two children aged 12 and 17.
