One person killed and more than 80 injured due to an explosion at the Amur gas enterprise

One person died in a fire at the Amur Gas Chemical Complex.

This was reported on August 25 by a source of REN TV.

According to the television channel, a total of 87 people sought medical assistance as a result of the incident.

One of the injured is in an extremely serious condition, and six more are in serious condition.

Medical personnel continue to examine the others.

"According to preliminary information, the fire occurred at an auxiliary technological section of the pyrolysis unit; the complex's main equipment was not damaged," the enterprise's press service reported on its Telegram channel.

Initially, two injured people were reported. Fifty employees of the enterprise were evacuated.
