Zelensky awards Elon Musk the Order of Freedom

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree awarding the Order of Freedom to American entrepreneur and founder of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk.

"For outstanding personal contributions to the protection of people's lives and freedom, and the development of relations between the peoples of Ukraine and the United States of America," the document published by the Office of the President states.

The Order of Freedom is one of Ukraine's highest state awards, given to citizens of the country and foreigners for services in asserting sovereignty, strengthening society, and protecting constitutional rights and freedoms.
