Alen Simonyan called Medvedev's words inappropriate
Secretary of Armenia's Security Council Alen Simonyan called the words of Deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council Dmitry Medvedev inappropriate.
"I believe that the reaction that mainly comes from Moscow from the Deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council Dmitry Medvedev is inappropriate and overly aggressive." Alen Simonyan said this on the air of the Dozhd television channel.
"We are not going to fight with Russia in any sense, be it political, economic, or otherwise.
We would like our Russian colleagues to show understanding of our situation, because we are not going to remain in an economic and military dead end. We need alternatives. This concerns the existence of our country, and it is a question that is not called into doubt. We must find markets for ourselves. We are not going to and do not want to lose our statehood, our country, our people," he noted.
