Iran's army reports purchase of new weapons during truce with the U.S.
Iran purchased new weapons during the truce with the United States, said the official spokesman for the army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Akraminia.
"We have also taken steps to prepare and purchase new equipment, and today this equipment has been delivered to army units," he told the Mehr agency.
The spokesman did not specify from whom and exactly what weapons Tehran purchased.
According to him, Iran took advantage of the moment to restore weapons systems damaged during the conflict with the United States.
