Russian attack destroys Roshen warehouse in Chubynske near Kyiv

A warehouse of the Roshen confectionery corporation in Chubynske (Kyiv region), which provided storage and further supply of finished confectionery products, was destroyed as a result of a massive Russian attack by the Russian Federation on the morning of August 27, the company's press service reported.

"The most important thing is that none of the employees was injured: thanks to compliance with safety rules and timely response to the air raid alert, all workers were in a shelter," the statement said.

Units of the State Emergency Service are working at the scene, and the elimination of the consequences of the attack and the assessment of the damage are continuing.

This is already the second attack on Roshen's warehouse facilities during the full-scale invasion — in February, the company's finished products warehouse in Yahotyn was destroyed.

"The current attack also led to significant material losses, in particular the loss of products, so in the near future there may be temporary disruptions in the supply of certain goods," the statement notes.

The company is already working on redistributing stocks and engaging alternative warehouse facilities in order to reduce possible disruptions as much as possible and minimize their impact on partners and consumers.
