A second straight 2:2: Liverpool let a win over Nottingham Forest slip away
Liverpool played to a draw in their home match of the second round of the English Premier League (EPL).
The Merseysiders were unable to beat Nottingham Forest on home soil. The meeting at Anfield ended with a score of 2:2.
The scoring was opened in the 24th minute by the visitors' forward Dan Ndoye. In the second half, in the 60th minute, Alexander Isak restored parity. However, just 10 minutes later Morgan Gibbs-White again put the "foresters" ahead, converting a penalty. The final result was set in the 82nd minute by Victor Muñoz, who scored his debut goal for the Merseysiders.
This is Liverpool's second consecutive draw at the start of the EPL season — in the first round the Reds also played to a 2:2 with Newcastle.
