China and Kyrgyzstan sign treaty on permanent good-neighborliness
China and Kyrgyzstan have signed a bilateral treaty on permanent good-neighborliness, friendship, and cooperation, as well as a joint declaration on the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership.
This was reported by Kyrgyz media.
The documents were signed by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.
Japarov noted that cooperation between the two countries has entered a golden period of development.
"China is our good neighbor, close friend, and a reliable partner tested by time. The treaty on permanent good-neighborliness, friendship, and cooperation being signed today creates a solid foundation for the further high-quality development of the comprehensive strategic partnership," Japarov said.
