Pezeshkian says Iran seeks a peaceful resolution of the conflict with the U.S.

Iran remains committed to a diplomatic resolution of the conflict with the United States, as the continuation of the war is not in anyone's interests.

This was stated by the president of the Islamic republic, Masoud Pezeshkian.

"Iran abides by the obligations undertaken within the framework of the agreements, however, unfortunately, the American side has not fulfilled its obligations. Nevertheless, we still seek to implement the path of agreement and mutual understanding and are convinced that the continuation of the war is not in our interests, nor in the interests of the region, nor in the interests of all humanity," the president's press service quoted him as saying.

According to Pezeshkian, there are forces in the United States that seek further escalation between Tehran and Washington, deriving benefit from it for themselves. Iran, for its part, is convinced that it is necessary to move along a peaceful path, strengthening stability and security in the Middle East.
