Russia struck Kyiv and the Kyiv region, more than ten people killed

Civilian infrastructure and residential buildings in the Darnytskyi, Holosiivskyi and Solomianskyi districts of Kyiv came under attack by the Russian military on the night of September 1, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) reported.

As a result of the strike, 8 people were killed and another 5, including 3 children, were injured. Fires broke out at the sites of the impacts, and a residential building was partially destroyed.

Railway infrastructure, including a depot, was also hit in Kyiv, Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) reported. As a result, 7 people were killed, 6 of whom were Ukrzaliznytsia employees. Another employee of the company was wounded. Ukrainian outlets write that this refers to a strike in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv.

In the Kyiv region, 4 people were killed and 13 injured as a result of the Russian strike with ballistic missiles and drones, local authorities said. According to the SES, residential buildings, cars and infrastructure facilities were damaged.
