Iran announces development of air defense systems with no equivalents in the world

Iran's army is developing new air defense systems that have no equivalents in the world.

This was stated by the commander of the Islamic Republic's air defense forces, Alireza Elhami.

"New, fully domestic air defense systems are being developed and created. These projects are gradually turning into ready-to-operate weapons models that have no known foreign equivalents," the Tasnim agency quoted him as saying.

According to Elhami, one of the advantages of the Iranian air defense systems is the enemy's lack of knowledge of their characteristics, capabilities, and operating principles. After passing all the necessary tests and procedures, the new air defense assets will be put into serial production.
