Germany may expel Russian diplomats and close its consulate general in Bonn

The German government is discussing the possibility of expelling several Russian diplomats and closing Russia's last operating consulate general in Bonn.

According to the publication, the reason for discussing such measures was the drone incident at the Leipzig airport. In addition, the German authorities may consider the question of closing the Russian House in Berlin.

Germany's interior and foreign ministers, Alexander Dobrindt and Johann Wadephul, are expected to appear before the press together. They are to report on the results of the investigation into the Leipzig incident and the government's possible further steps.
