This was reported by the press service of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), cited by RIA Novosti.

"Several hours ago, two violating tankers were stopped after hitting mines," the statement said.

In this connection, the IRGC asserts that Iran's armed forces will not weaken their control over the Strait of Hormuz.

It was also noted there that the crew had left the vessels, which the United States took under its control and subsequently attempted to guide along a route not agreed upon with Tehran.
