Pashinyan: Armenia does not intend to introduce visas for Russians

Armenia does not intend to introduce a visa regime for citizens of Russia.

This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"We have no intentions of doing such a thing and never had them. We never even had such a thought; on the contrary, we accept tourists coming from Russia with great pleasure and we see that they have now become very active participants in promoting Armenia's tourism advantages. The Armenian public receives these people with great pleasure and love, and it seems they feel quite good in Armenia, and we are glad," Pashinyan told journalists at a briefing.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), stated that Armenia's possible introduction of a visa regime with Russia would primarily harm its own citizens.
