Poland summons Russia's ambassador

Russia's ambassador to Poland, Georgy Michno, has been summoned to the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This was reported by the spokesman for the Polish foreign ministry, Maciej Wewiór.

According to the ministry representative, the Russian diplomat is to arrive at the ministry today. The Polish side intends to convey to him a «strong protest against the escalation of Russia's aggressive actions».

Speaking with PAP, Wewiór noted that the summoning of the ambassador is connected with Poland's expression of solidarity with Germany as an ally. According to him, Poland and other states also face «similar actions by Russia».
