Trump: The U.S. will demand that Europe return the billions spent on aid to Kyiv

The United States intends to demand that European countries reimburse the hundreds of billions of dollars that the administration of former President Joe Biden allocated for military aid to Ukraine.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced this on his social network Truth Social.

According to him, under Biden, weapons and ammunition worth hundreds of billions of dollars were transferred to Ukraine and NATO free of charge. Trump noted that Kyiv was supplied with significantly more ammunition free of charge than the United States used in Iran.

"Europe could have paid for it itself. We will still demand this money, even if somewhat belatedly!" the American leader wrote.
