Residents of Saxony-Anhalt saw Merz off with shouts of "Get out!" - VIDEO

Residents of the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt expressed their dissatisfaction with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz during a visit ahead of the elections.

This was reported by the tabloid Bild.

As part of the trip, Merz held closed-door talks with representatives of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), which he leads. At the end of the event, he did not come out to meet local residents and left the building by car. The gathered citizens saw Merz off with shouts of "Get out!"

Elections to the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt are scheduled for September 6.
