Death toll from boat wreck in Northern Cyprus rises to 13

The death toll from the wreck of a passenger vessel off the coast of the city of Kyrenia in Northern Cyprus has reached 13.

According to 1news.az, Northern Cypriot Prime Minister Ünal Üstel wrote about this on the social network X.

According to him, the body of one more person was found, thus bringing the death toll to 13, while 15 people are still considered missing.

The prime minister emphasized that private companies will be involved in the search operations, and consultations will also be held with Turkey.

To recall, on August 30, a vessel was wrecked off the coast of Kyrenia in Northern Cyprus.
