A forest fire has broken out in Turkey
In Turkey's Muğla province, a fire broke out in a forested area in the Yaraş district for a reason that has not yet been determined.
Due to the strong wind observed in the region, the fire spread within a short time to the territory of the Armutçuk district.
Firefighting crews, as well as aerial and ground equipment, have been dispatched to the area. A total of 232 personnel are involved in extinguishing the fire, in addition to 7 airplanes, 13 helicopters, 32 fire trucks, 7 bulldozers, 62 water tankers, and 12 units of other equipment. Another 11 vehicles and ambulances are assisting with the evacuation.
Traffic on the Muğla-Denizli highway is being carried out in a controlled mode.
