Nine FETÖ suspects detained in Turkey

In the Turkish province of Muğla in the southwest of the country, nine people suspected of membership in the FETÖ movement who were trying to leave the country were detained as part of an investigation into the case against FETÖ.

According to TRT Haber, they planned to cross the border on the yacht PETER PAN, which was flying the Russian flag. The vessel was detained off the coast of the town of Datça, not far from international waters. Along with the suspects, the yacht's captain and two children who were on board were detained.

A criminal case was opened against the captain on charges of "aiding the FETÖ terrorist organization" and "illegally smuggling migrants."

The children were handed over to relatives. After the completion of the necessary procedures, the detainees will be handed over to the judicial authorities.
