Iceland summons U.S. ambassador after Trump's post
Iceland's Foreign Ministry summoned the U.S. ambassador after Donald Trump published a map showing Iceland, Canada, Greenland, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean countries under the American flag.
At the same time, the entire territory shown on the map was labeled as the United States.
Iceland's Foreign Minister Katrin Gunnarsdottir summoned U.S. Ambassador Long, who took office only last month. The ministry stated that during the meeting a clear position was expressed regarding the complete inappropriateness of the post.
It is noted that Trump once again published a series of images created with the help of artificial intelligence.
