Ali Asadov meets with delegation of the Asian Development Bank
On September 14, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with a delegation of the Board of Directors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
As reported by the Cabinet of Ministers, at the meeting, which was also attended by Minister of Finance Sahil Babayev, the high level of the established long-term and mutually beneficial partnership between Azerbaijan and the ADB was noted with satisfaction.
The importance of joint projects implemented in the fields of transport, energy, water supply, finance, education, healthcare and other areas was emphasized, and good opportunities for expanding cooperation within the framework of the public-private partnership mechanism were noted.
The country partnership strategy for 2025-2029 was assessed as an important basis for a new stage of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the ADB, and the compliance of new projects envisaged in the field of energy, transport and water infrastructure with the long-term development priorities of our country was emphasized.
The meeting discussed prospects for the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Asian Development Bank.
