Fidan meets with TURKPA secretary general in Baku

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Ramil Hasan, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA), during his visit to Azerbaijan.

According to Report, at the meeting the parties discussed TURKPA's activities over the past year, preparations for the upcoming plenary session, and the formation of a common parliamentary strategy.

An exchange of views also took place on strengthening cooperation with the Organization of Turkic States to achieve common goals. Special attention was paid to the importance of regular contacts with the foreign ministries of the organization's member countries.

Hakan Fidan stated that Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to provide comprehensive support to TURKPA's activities under the leadership of Ramil Hasan.

TURKPA Deputy Secretary General Muhammet Alper Hayali also took part in the meeting.
