Record number of foreign guests set at Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix
In Baku, during the anniversary 10th Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the number of foreign tourists reached a record high, exceeding 16,000 people.
This is the highest figure for the entire period of holding the Formula 1 stage in the capital of Azerbaijan, 1news.az reports, citing the operating company Baku City Circuit.
By comparison, last year the number of foreign guests amounted to 14,000 people.
The growth of international interest in the race is also reflected in ticket sales. Tickets for the 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix were purchased by fans from more than 120 countries, which indicates a further expansion of the international geography of the competition.
"The anniversary 10th Grand Prix not only attracted a record number of foreign guests to Baku, but once again directed the attention of fans from all over the world to the capital of Azerbaijan," the operating company Baku City Circuit notes.
