Azerbaijani delegation held a series of important official meetings in Iran - PHOTO
A delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev held expanded-format meetings with officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of its visit to that country.
As reported to AZERTAC by the Cabinet of Ministers, the meetings emphasized that the sincere relations established between the heads of the two states have a very positive impact on the development of bilateral ties and on accelerating the implementation of joint projects.
During the visit, at the meeting with Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Ghalibaf, the important role of the parliaments in implementing the joint initiatives put forward by our countries and in further strengthening mutual ties was noted.
The delegation then met with Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Mohsen Rezaei, and topical issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed.
As part of the visit, the delegation also held productive discussions with Iran's Minister of Oil Mohsen Paknejad and Minister of Energy Abbas Aliabadi, where projects important for the economies of both countries and prospects for cooperation were considered.
