Sugary carbonated and mineral drinks to become excisable goods in Azerbaijan

In Azerbaijan, sweetened mineral and carbonated drinks will be considered excisable goods, and an excise tax of 0.1 manat per liter will be applied to their production.
As 1news.az reports citing Report, this is reflected in the draft law on amendments to the Tax Code.
The document is part of the budget package for 2027.
