Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei will not sanction the signing of an agreement with the US in Islamabad if Washington does not accept Tehran's 10 conditions.

This was stated by the First Deputy Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Ali Nikzad.

"If these 10 conditions are not accepted, the Supreme Leader will not give permission for the signing," Nikzad's words were reported by the Fars news agency.

On April 7, US President Donald Trump announced a two-week mutual ceasefire with Iran. This decision was made in light of a proposal by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and "with the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to fully, immediately, and safely reopen the Strait of Hormuz," the American leader clarified. According to the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic, Tehran put forward 10 conditions for the ceasefire, with which the US "was forced to agree." Sharif invited delegations from Iran and the US to negotiations in Islamabad on April 10 to "reach a final agreement on the settlement of all disputes."
