I am ready: Zelenskyy addresses proposal to Putin
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has once again proposed to meet with Vladimir Putin, but not in Moscow.
I am ready to meet with Putin. Of course, not in Moscow and not in Kyiv. But if he is ready to meet with me, there are many places for that. We can find such a place in the Middle East, in Europe, in the USA — anywhere, he stated in an interview with the RAI TV channel.
Zelenskyy also once again refused to withdraw Ukrainian troops from the territories of Donbas.
Presidential aide Yury Ushakov stated that Putin has repeatedly said that Zelenskyy can come to Moscow if he is ready for dialogue. According to Ushakov, Russia has never refused contacts with Zelenskyy, but they must be well-prepared.
Press Secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov stated on January 23 that Ukrainian armed forces must leave the territory of Donbas, which is an important condition from the Russian side.
