Pezeshkian: Israeli strikes on Lebanon make negotiations meaningless
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Israel's strikes on Lebanon undermine the ceasefire regime and render any negotiations meaningless.
According to him, Israel's actions effectively nullify diplomatic efforts and lead to further escalation. Pezeshkian also emphasized that Iran "will not abandon the Lebanese people."
The statements come amid a sharp escalation of the situation: Israel has carried out the most massive strikes on Lebanon since the conflict with Hezbollah began last month. According to available data, more than 250 people were killed in the attacks on Wednesday.
