Emissary of Khamenei: Iran will demand reparations from the US and its allies for damage
Tehran will seek reparations from the US and its allies for the damage caused by strikes, and in case of refusal, will compensate for it by seizing American assets and property.
This was stated to TASS by Abdul Majid Hakim Ilahi, the representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic in India.
He recalled that one of the ten points of Iran's ceasefire plan, which was accepted by Washington, includes a clause on reparations for damage. "We will make them pay, they must pay. If they do not pay, we know how to obtain compensation from their assets or their property," he said.
"They must pay for this [damage], because they attacked Iran without any reason," the representative of the Supreme Leader emphasized. The emissary reported that in Tehran alone, 37,000 homes have been destroyed. "In the capital of Iran, Tehran, 37,000 homes [have been destroyed]. In addition, many hospitals, many universities have been destroyed here, and many civilians have also been killed. They destroyed everything. And now they will have to pay for it," he said.
Responding to a question about which countries Tehran is demanding compensation from, the representative of Iran's Supreme Leader noted that besides the US and Israel, it includes those who supported them. "Not only they [the US and Israel], but also the countries that supported them must pay [Iran for the damage]," he pointed out.
