Emissary of Khamenei declares that U.S. ships must leave the Persian Gulf

American ships must leave the Persian Gulf, as their presence does not contribute to stability, and the countries of the region can ensure the safety of vessels themselves.

This was stated to journalists by Abdul Majid Hakim Ilahi, the representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic in India.

"Why are American ships in the Persian Gulf? What are they doing there? They must leave the region. We can ensure the safety of all vessels ourselves," his words were quoted by the Times of India newspaper.

According to Ilahi, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz remains tense due to the aggression of the U.S. and Israel against Iran. "We want the strait to remain open, but the current situation there is unfavorable," he emphasized.

Ilahi called on the international community to help end the conflict. "We are forced to ask world leaders and all peoples who desire peace and justice to unite and stop the war. If there is no war, there will be no crisis," Ilahi pointed out.
