Pashinyan: We expect important events related to the launch of the TRIPP project
Armenia is entering a new stage of economic development, driven by the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
As reported by 'Armenpress,' this was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, during a meeting with major entrepreneurs.
'In the near future, we expect important events that are primarily related to the launch of the TRIPP project, which is of decisive importance as it will finally lift the blockade on the Republic of Armenia. However, in essence, Armenia has already overcome the blockade because, as you know, railway cargo transportation to Armenia through the territory of Azerbaijan is possible and is being carried out. But I also want to say that export is also possible by railway, of course, through the territory of Georgia, and we will first open the railway with Azerbaijan within the framework of the TRIPP project. This is very important, and the political agreement is that this railway will never be closed. In other words, it is a reliable route for both import and export,' said the Prime Minister.
